Embrace brioche! And we're not speaking of the yummy French pastry, although the lofty brioche knit stitch may have derived its name from the dinner roll formed of two pieces, one stacked atop the other. The brioche stitch has become very popular lately, perhaps because of the wonderfully lofty wide rib it creates and the exciting design possibilities it offers in both one and two colour knitting.  However, both the stitch technique and pattern reading can be intimidating. If you're intrigued and would like to explore brioche knitting, consider Melissa's Workshop starting May 29.  The Vintage Prim hat shown above is just one of four brioche hat pattern choices available in the class.  Call or stop by the shop to register.
