Knitting almost complete on The Birthday Coat.  We found wonderful toggle buttons at Button Button.  Now just need to knit five little i-cord loops. Here's crossing fingers we'll have enough light grey to not have to dig into a third ball.  This yarn is magical, every stitch lying perfectly next to its neighbor, and a wash in Eucalan brings the alpaca to the surface--soft, drapey, with just the right amount of structure.  As soon as the button closures are finished we'll have a modeling with The Boy.  Oops, forgot to mention, the pink and oatmeal colours in the background are for a girlish version!
