Hope Cardigan

June 16, 2018

We're knitting the Hope Cardigan from Making Magazine No. 3 Dots. Such a fun pattern. It's knit in two pieces starting at the sleeve cuff and the two halves are seamed together down the back using the three-needle bind-off technique. We're almost finished with the second half. Yay! Lots of wonderful yarn options for this DK weight sweater.  We're using Holst Garn Coast double-stranded.  Other single-stranded  choices: Rowan Felted Tweed, EL Silky Wool, and Quince & Co. Chickadee. Since the pattern is only available in the magazine, we've ordered extra copies of Making No. 3.  It's a great issue full of patterns we love, including the dotted socks (Mayu just finished a pair), Tin Can Knits' Waves Mittens and the interesting Awa-Awa wrap.
