We love Flora's Cap, a simple seed stitch hat pattern with only two requirements--approximately 195 yards of a luxurious yarn and some peaceful knitiing time.
We choose Koigu Sparkle for our version. While the pattern calls for a sport-weight yarn, we find the springy fingering-weight Koigu works nicely (swatching for blocked gauge is recommended). Or consider the Shibui version--Shibui Pebble + Shibui Silk Cloud make a perfect pairing (we used this combo in our Simple Pleasures hat).
