We're knitting the Fledgling Featherweight for The Girl.
We've chosen Habu Tsumugi Silk in a tweedy indigo denim, just right with t-shirt and blue jeans! Two cones will make the child's size 10. This lovely toop-down pattern by Knitbot's Hannah Fettig is also available in adult sizes.

From our collection of lace weight yarns, all would work beautifully for the Child or Adult Featherweight, front to back: Shibui Linen, Shibui Pebble, Zephyr Merino Silk Lace, Habu Tsumugi Silk and Habu Cotton Gima. Because this pattern is knit at a loose gauge of 24 stitches to 4 inches, a fingering or sport weight yarn could also be used.
