Yesterday we were dreaming of spring . . .

No worries, when the snow comes we can take comfort in wool. We'll be knitting a cozy cowl with a pattern from our friends at Churchmouse Yarns.  They've used two contrasting colours of Berroco Ultra Alpaca Chunky to knit the Diagonal Garter Stitch Loop. We love their version but we're going to experiment by combining a skein of Ultra Alpaca Chunky with a skein of Noro Transitions.  Knit on 6.5mm needles, this cowl will knit up quickly and the mix of fibers and colours of Noro Transitions should give beautiful texture and interest to the project.
