Join us this winter and knit a Cowichan-inspired sweater.  You can go here to read about the original Coast Salish sweaters. And good news here--a victory for Cowichan Tribe knitters.  We'll be knitting our cardigan in an Aran to Chunky weight wool using a traditional reindeer design or you can substitute a charted design of your choosing.  Sizes range from Small to XXXLarge in this unisex design.  Techniques include fair isle and intarsia knitting, pocket construction, zipper application and seaming/finishing.  Class dates range from November through January (with a break over Christmas) which will give you plenty of time to complete your pieces--knitting homework required!
