Reader's Wrap in Soft Donegal Tweed

We chose Soft Donegal in a deep shade of burgundy tweed and knit the wrap at an aran gauge on 5.5 mm needles for beautiful drape and texture. More details on our Ravelry Project Page.  If you love tweed, you'll want to check back soon for our notes on another in-progress project using Donegal Tweed + Drops Alpaca in a "mix" for the fabulous Gezell Coat!

We're finishing up the cozy Reader's Wrap.  Wear it as a shawl curled up with a great book or as a scarf for wintery outings.  We knit our wrap a bit longer than the pattern dimensions (blocked length 72") and still need to add the pockets. Here's a good tutorial we'll be using for knitted pocket techniques. Check back soon for photos of the finished project.
