We love knitting these big Christmas stockings in a super-bulky yarn--a quick project for an experienced sock knitter. Â If you're new to knitting socks, consider taking our fun class and you'll have a stocking just in time for the holidays (as well as all the techniques needed to knit smaller-scale wearable socks).
Pattern:  Last Minute Christmas Stocking (available on our Ravelry  project page)
Yarn: Â Super-Bulky yarn in your choice of colours (mix and match any of the following: Â Cascade Magnum, Briggs and Little Country Roving, Malabrigo Rasta). Â Optional: Â Lornas Laces Angel (angora) for a fluffy cuff.
Needles: Â 10 mm 16" Circulars and DPN's
Class dates: Â Four Sunday evenings, 7-9pm, November 23, December 7, 14 and 21 (skipping November 30 for knitting time)
