If your resolutions for 2013 included learning new knitting skills, or tackling those stalled projects, check out our Knitter's Helpline classes! Christa and Mandy are designers and teachers with lots of experience guiding students through the challenge of interpreting and customizing patterns. Both are skilled knitters, and Mandy is an experienced crochet designer able to assist with advanced projects while Christa is able to teach the basics of crochet. Christa also teaches spinning on drop-spindles and needle felting. There are up to six students per class, with each person working on their individual projects. One of the bonus effects of Helpline classes is that you can eavesdrop on the skills that other students are learning, and pick up a few extra tips for your own future projects! Need some Ravelry-guided inspiration? Think about lace, cables, stranded colour work, intarsia, entrelac, or maybe your first baby or adult sweater! If you have just been working on basic scarves, we can also teach you how to read patterns, choose yarn, and learn basic increases and decreases. These classes run on Mondays 7-9pm with Christa, or Thursdays 7-9 with Mandy, in four week sessions. Sign up now for February!
