Layering for Winter
December 28, 2017
Elizabeth Smith's newest pattern, Alanis, is the perfect layering piece for Vancouver winters. It's an easy knit with just enough detail to keep it interesting (we love the I-cord edging and contrast colour pocket lining). And Alanis is knit in a wonderful yarn, Quince & Co. Owl. If you haven't knit yet with Owl, you're in for a surprise. This pump woolen-spun blend of wool and alpaca comes in a lovely palette of tweedy colours and has an amazing bloom and drape after blocking. We're adding this cute sweater/vest to our project list. See you in the New Year!
