baby-sock baby-sock baby-sock baby-sock baby-sock baby-sock Are you a sock knitter who will do anything to avoid grafting toes, or perhaps you have a hard time getting around to that second sock . . . this workshop is for you.  You'll begin the 4 week workshop by casting on and knitting the toes of both socks, then learn to knit socks that fit beautifully as you knit along the feet and shape the heels.  Before you know it you'll be casting off at the cuffs--two socks finished at the same time!  In this workshop you'll  knit a pair of children's socks while developing the techniques needed to knit a larger pair for yourself.  This class is suitable for those who have knit socks in the round, but experience with socks on circular needles is not required. Knit 2 Socks on 1 Circular Needle . . . Toe Up!
Instructor:  Venessa Bentley Dates/Time:  4 Sunday mornings, 9:45 to 11:45, November 8, 15, 22 and 29 Cost:  $90, includes pattern and extensive notes Supplies:  2.5mm Addi Turbo Circular Needle, 40" long; approx. 210 metres (420m for adult pair) Merino Sock Yarn such as Koigu, Dream in Color Smooshy, Socks That Rock or Unwind Yarn, wound into two equal balls; a bit of slightly thicker waste yarn for practicing cast on; binder for notes with 12 plastic sheet protectors.  Venessa's adult pattern, plus adjustments for the children's size, is included.
