Jamieson and Smith Supreme Jumper Weight Natural Shades
We're excited to introduce our newest yarn, Jamieson and Smith Jumper Weight, the 100% Shetland wool traditionally used in knitting Fair Isle garments. Our cubbies are filled with the beautiful dyed shades of 2 Ply Jumper and the natural colours of Shetland Supreme Jumper, all inspired by the rugged landscape of the Shetland Islands.

Jamieson and Smith, founded in the 1930's, is located in Lerwick, Scotland in a cluster of heritage buildings overlooking the harbour. All products are manufactured from 100% Shetland wool from sheep born and bred on the islands. Shetland wool is a natural and sustainable fibre, renowned for its fineness and warmth. J&S tell us "the sheep graze on the islands' hills and beaches eating wild heather and seaweed. This diet along with the not-so-great weather, makes Shetland wool soft, strong and warm."
