Yes, it’s the hot days of summer and you probably aren’t thinking “mittens”. But we’re planning ahead for Fall knitting classes, and here’s one we think you’ll love!
During this 6 week, Sunday morning program, enjoy knitting two cozy projects to welcome cool fall winds, drizzly days, and then full on snowstorms. In Weeks 1, 2 and 3 we will work through Hello Yarn’s beautiful Fairisle stranded mittens, working from a chart, and knitting in the round. First time Fairislers welcome!

Fiddlehead Mittens by Adrian Bizilia, pattern is available for purchase on Ravelry or here.

Please stop by the store ahead of time to shop for yarn (several options available), double pointed wooden needles (3.25 mm, 3.5 mm, and 3.75 mm), and the coloured chart tape available at the shop. Please bring your downloaded pattern, a binder with sheet protectors, and your knitting accessory kit to the first class.

During Weeks 4, 5, and 6 we will build some cozy thrummed mittens, knit in a lovely wool and using beautiful merino roving to create a lining of sheer bliss! Details about this project will be shared with you in our first week. Here is a sample of what we have in mind. . .
