Our afghan project (blogged here) is off to a great start! The plan:  6 squares wide x 8 squares long plus edging should give a nice child's bed size for The Girl.  We love the deep pink/purple tones with an occasional yellow-centered flower to brighten things up (5 of the 48 squares will have yellow centers).
