Three Bags Full Yarn Shop – Vancouver

Alex is knitting Feller Carol Bohus in our new Bayfield DK and we love everything about this sweater—the retro design, the yarn and the colour choices. The pattern, originally published in @laine_magazine No.7 but also available as an individual digital pattern, takes its inspiration from the work of the Swedish Bohus Knitting Cooperative active from 1939 to 1969. Bohus is knitted from the bottom up and has steeked armhole openings. Also pictured here are the four colours of @gbfibreco Bayfield DK Alex is using for her sweater. Bayfield is a great choice for this pattern as it is an untreated non-superwash 100% wool that allows steeked stitches to stick together after cutting.
