Eastern Fox Snake

An Eastern Fox Snake paid us a visit this week! Big with beautiful markings, a great camouflage on our rocky shoreline. Looks a lot like the Massasauga Rattlesnake (poisonous and endangered) but the eyes tell the story: round pupils for the Fox, vertical pupils for the Rattler.
