Braided Rag Rug

A new crafting addiction-- the braided rag rug! Wanted to use up old sheets and quilt scraps, watched a few rag rug tutorials and decided on this braided rope method that doesn't require a loom. Coiled rope can be hand stitched or machine stitched with a wide loose zigzag but must use a heavy duty needle and work very slowly (I bent a #90 and now awaiting arrival of daughter in a few weeks with the sturdier upholstery size needle). I'll just keep braiding, very meditative. . .
