All About Twig Part 1: Sakasama

Shibui Twig, a linen and silk yarn with beautiful tweedy texture and effortless drape, is one of our first choices for warm weather knitting. Like another linen favourite, Louet Euroflax, Twig can be knit at a wide range of gauges, lending itself to so many exciting patterns.

All About Twig Part 1: Sakasama

Olgajazzy's wonderful Sakasama (meaning upside down) is a kimono-like transformable jacket that can be worn upside down and inside out. Pictured in single-stranded Shibui Pebble, it would be equally beautiful in summery Twig (both yarns available in Blueprint, as well as so many other amazing shades in the Shibui palette). Don't be intimidated by the yardage shown at the beginning of the Ravelry Project page, representing the jacket knit in a lace-weight yarn held double.  The Twig or Pebble version takes only half the amount! Stop by tomorrow for more "Twiggy" ideas.
