Jared Flood's  Tweed Baby Blanket, reworked for summer in a very un-tweedy yarn . . .
. . . The super-soft and cuddly Blue Sky Alpacas Worsted Cotton. Â Jamie used 4 skeins Bone, 2 skeins Wasabi, and one skein each Shell and Azul. Â Lots of peaceful garter stitch, a simple lace edging and lovely i-cord bind off make this the perfect baby blanket. Â For winter, we'll be knitting this blanket again in neutral shades of Green Mountain Spinnery Alpaca Elegance. Â And by the way, bunny's sweater was knit by The Girl (with sewing help from Nana) in Tanis Fiber Arts Hand-Dyed Worsted "Sweet Heart" and "Buttercup".
