We’re knitting the cover sweater from Interweave Knits Spring 2009 and we just had to share the loveliness of this design, even though we’ve only completed a few inches. We’re especially happy with the tubular cast-on . . .
We’re using Cascade 220 Colour 2429 Irelande Heather
Top down construction = try on as you go = perfect fit!
This sweater begins with a tubular cast-on which gives a beautiful rounded k1p1 edge to the ribbing. We used this version of the cast-on (different from the version described in the Interweave Glossary).
The slip-stitch I-cord edging is also very nice . . . check back soon, we should have this finished in no time!
