Want to learn the basics of lace knitting? Is scheduling a problem during these busy Summer months? Consider our two-session “Plunge into Lace” class with lace designer Sivia Harding. In this class, suitable for lace beginners, you’ll knit a scarf in Feather and Fan pattern using a worsted-weight yarn (a quick knit). We’ll cover chart reading and basic stitches in the first class, trouble-shooting and easy fixes in the second. Materials include 220 yards of worsted weight yarn, 6mm needles (straight or circular) and 6/0 seed beads if you’d like to experiment with beaded embellishment (we recommend beads, they’re great fun!).
