Class Description:

Learn how to crochet short rows to create these elegant wedges in this striped asymmetrical crescent-shaped scarf. Students who have taken the Beginner's Crochet class or who know the half-double crochet stitch will benefit most in this Beyond Beginner class.

In addition to learning short rows, other techniques covered will include changing colours and carrying colours across a row.

A copy of the Swaye scarf pattern

Pattern uses three colours: Approximately 350 yards for MC; 350 yards for CC1; 175yds for CC2 in fingering weight yarn (such as Koigu or Sweet Georgia Tough Love Sock)

4.5mm hook (or size needed to obtain gauge)

Locking stitch markers

Darning needle
