Owls and Owlet:  A Beyond Beginner Sweater Class

Description:

In this fun Beyond Beginners Sweater Class you will learn seamless sweater construction and cables.  (You’ll be amazed how easy cables are to knit!) Choose Kate Davies’ Owlet (6 mo to 12 yrs) or Adult Owls version (30 to 50″).  The child and adult sweaters use a chunky-weight yarn and can be knit up quite quickly. The baby Owlet uses a worsted-weight yarn and is equally fast (because of its small size).

Materials:

Pattern (purchase as pdf download here or here), chunky or worsted weight yarn in amounts needed for chosen size, circular and dpns (in size needed to obtain gauge), stitch markers, cable needle and darning needle.   We will be knitting swatches in the first class to determine appropriate needle size.  Please come by the shop prior to the start of class and we’ll be happy to help you choose yarn in an appropriate weight for your choice of sweater.
