Description:

Kids ages 8 an up–get started knitting this summer with our Learn to Knit class. This course covers basic knitting skills in a  fun environment that allows for lots of individual creativity.  Learn to cast on and cast off, knit and purl and experiment with colour while working on our free-form stripey scarf. A bright palette and dropped stitches add fanciful elements to this project.  Kids have the options of changing colours and creating dropped stitches freely, for a one-of-a-kind scarf.

Materials (included in class fee):

Cascade 220 in a variety of bright colours, set of straight knitting needles and darning needle.
