Description:

Kids ages 8 an up–get started knitting with our Learn to Knit class. This course covers basic knitting skills in a  fun environment that allows for lots of individual creativity.  Learn to cast on and cast off, knit and purl, experiment with colour and create random drop stitches while working on our free-form stripey scarf. A bright palette and dropped stitches  add fanciful elements to this project.  Kids can change colours and create dropped stitches freely, creating a one-of-a-kind scarf.

Materials (included in class fee):

Cascade 220 in a variety of bright colours, set of bamboo straight knitting needles and darning needle.
