Description:
Your know how to knit and purl, have knit your first scarf or small project, and are ready for a new challenge–advance your skills with our Intermediate Knitting program. You’ll learn all about gauge swatches, pattern reading, understanding pattern requirements, shaping techniques, correcting mistakes, creating decorative stitches and finishing techniques. A bit of homework is required in this course.
Materials:
One skein of light-coloured worsted weight yarn with ball band and appropriate needles. We recommend Cascade 200 or Mission Falls 1824 Wool and 4.5 – 5 mm needles. Other accessories as required, including darning needle, cable needle and stitch markers.
