Two Fun Classes Starting this Month
Crocheted Squares for the Sunny Spread
We have two fun classes coming up this month, one for crocheters and one for knitters. For the crocheter, Alex is offering the Sunny Spread workshop on Tuesday, March 10 from 6:30 to 9:30 pm. Our one evening class takes you step-by-step to create a square or two of this lovely pattern, the perfect start for an afghan or baby blanket. Suitable for basic level crocheters who know single and double crochet. Call or stop by the shop to register.
For the knitter, Melissa is offering Cadeautje: Thrummed Slippers, a four session course beginning on Tuesday, March 17 from 7:30 to 9:30 pm. You'll learn about thrumming, the fascinating technique from Labrador and Newfoundland, to create a thick soft cushion of fibre in these cozy slippers (sized from child to adult). Call or stop by the shop to register.
