The Plum Frost Cardigan
Our newest project–The Plum Frost Cardigan
The yarn: Harrisville New England Shetland 2-ply. We’ ve ordered this lovely heathered shetland in 26 colours!
The Pattern: Elinor Brown’s lovely seamless bottom-up sweater (cardigan or pullover) features a classic 6-colour stranded yoke. The cardigan is knit in the round and steeked open.
Our swatch: We knit a “fake” swatch in the round. Purl row marks change of needle size. Swatch was soaked in Eucalan and flattened to dry. The fabric is so light as to be nearly weighless with a beautiful “shetland” bloom. This is going to be a really fun project and a wonderful classic sweater.
