It’s finished—finally! Begun as a gift for Christmas 2007, this lovely but never-ending blanket got tucked away uncompleted for a year. Then Christmas 2008 rolled around—still not finished. But yesterday the last stripe of cream-coloured alpaca got knitted, bound off, ends woven in, photos taken, ready to mail to Rochester where the warmth of this gentle giant of a blanket will be much appreciated.
