Supporters of Spirit Day are asking you to wear purple tomorrow, October 20, to raise awareness of homophobia and honor LGTB youth who are targets of hatred and bullying. Â The group, started as a reaction to the many recent young gay suicides committed due to homophobic bullying, would like Spirit Day to represent a step towards putting an end to all hate crimes. Â We'd like to do our part on Spirit Day by offering a 15% discount on all purple-ish yarn. Â So stop by tomorrow, wear purple to say no to hate, and pick up something purple-ish to knit or crochet.
