We finished our Felted Tweed version of Nordic Wind last night . . .
Now we just need some cool fall days to wear it.
Here she is blocking with the new Knit Blockers.
They look like cute little fences! And they work really well!
We love the beautiful drape of Felted Tweed knit at a loose gauge for scarves and shawls. We used 4 colours of Rowan Felted Tweed. From top to bottom: Clay 177, Frozen 185, Camel 157 and Scree 165.
Our alterations to the Nordic Wind pattern:
Blocked gauge: 4.5 stitches per inch on 4 mm 32" Addi Rockets.
First colour knit to 9" measured at centre spine (used partial ball).
Each additional colour used a full ball, creating stripes of 7", 5", and 3" respectively.
Ended with 3 garter ridges.
