Since we couldn’t get Mokuba ribbon (sigh), we decided to take a chance and knit the straps. Turns out there was plenty of yarn, so don’t worry if you want to knit yours. We cast on 7 stitches with smaller needles, knit every row until strap measured 24” FULLY STRETCHED, cast off, then knit another to match. Although Amy suggested sewing the straps on front-to-back, we sewed ours on side-to-side as pictured. Love, love, love this bag!
