Knitted Knockers - knit prosthetics for breast cancer survivors

Knitted Knockers™ are special handmade breast prostheses for women who have undergone mastectomies or other procedures to the breast. Traditional breast prosthetics are usually expensive, heavy, sweaty and uncomfortable. Knitted Knockers™ on the other hand are soft, comfortable, beautiful and when placed in a regular bra they take the shape and feel of a real breast. We have partnered with Knitted Knockers to connect volunteer knitters and crocheters with women in need of prostheses to offer free knockers.  So here's a call out to all our customers--stop by the shop, purchase a skein of Cascade Pima Cotton (affordably priced at $10.95 for 220 yds), grab a free "Knocker" pattern and get going! Tips and video for making the knockers can be found here. Return your completed Knockers (unstuffed) to the shop and we will give you a discount card for 15% off your next store purchase.  For women in need of free Knocker prostheses, please complete the request form here.
