If you're a lace knitter, you've probably seen the shawl patterns by Pink Lemon Twist. We're especially intrigued by Hanami, a beautiful asymmetrical stole inspired by Japanese cherry blossom viewing and the celebration of friendship. This stole is at the top of our “to do” list. Well, Pink Lemon Twist is hosting a knit-along , “Mystery Stole 3”, and the group closes to new members July 6, so hurry up and join! Can you believe, over 3000 knitters have signed up. Sorry, we've been slow at announcing this fun project, but there's still time—the first Clue goes up June 29. Go here to read about the Mystery Stole and to register. It works like this—every Friday, beginning June 29, a clue will be posted for the members. Knit the clue each week and by the end of the knit-along you'll have an amazing Melanie-designed shawl (or knit at your leisure and be inspired by the progress of other knitters). A bead option is included in this year's Mystery Stole as well as drawings for giveaways throughout the knit-along. If you decide to join, please email pictures of your stole in process and we'll post them on our newsletter. Happy Knitting!
